The Flower & The Butterfly



Once there was a man who asked God for

…a flower

…and a butterfly

But instead God gave him

…a cactus

…and a caterpillar

The man was sad, he didn’t understand why his request was mistaken

Then he thought:

“Oh well, God has too many people to care for and decided not to question it”

After sometime, the man went to check up on his request that he has left forgotten

To his surprise

…from the thorny and ugly cactus a beautiful flower has grown

…and the unsightly caterpillar had been transformed into the most beautiful butterfly

God always does what is right

His ways is always the best even if to us it seems all wrong

If you asked God for one thing and received another. TRUST

You can be sure He always give you what you need at the appropriate time

What you want is not always what you need

God never fails to grant our petitions so keep going for Him without doubting or murmuring

Today’s thorn…is tomorrow’s flower

God gives the best to those who leave the choices up to Him

Heaven Above

My dad-in-law passed away on September 1, 2007 to begin an eternal life with our Lord. He was a man with few words, gentle in his ways and had a generous heart to all. He had led a hard life but he was blessed with a loving and faithful wife and three wonderful sons. He had fought a long hard battle of cancer for years. And throughout his life, he kept his heart closed against the Lord. Due to persistent prayers of those who love him and the brotherly love of Sitiawan Methodist Church members, my dad-in-law accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Saviour, follow thereafter by my mum-in-law. They were both baptized last month. His sickness took a bad turn last week and the sons were called to return home to see him for the last time. There were a few times that they thought my dad-in-law was not going to make it but he managed to pull through. A Sick Baby Updates

My Little Lady last had fever on Thursday morning. We fed her a dosage of paracertamol at 6.30 a.m. and her fever never came back since then. Her swelling reduced tremendously and there were no rashes on her body. The doctor has informed us that it will take a few days with 2 days of high fever and thereafter the fever will go up and down for another few more days. We praise God for His healing and that my Little Lady was healed within less than 2 days. Her fever started on Tuesday night and Wednesday was the crazy day and by Thursday early morning it was all gone. As I write this I am reminded of this verse;- " I waited patiently for the Lord, he turned to me and heard my cry ." Psalm 40 And thank you all who has kept us in your prayers :) We appreciate it very much. Got to run for now. Since Daddy Yeoh and Little Lady have both recovered, I will be making American breakfast for them...Smoked English Breakfast Sausages (homemade by my brother in law) yummy!
